Waitakere Civic Centre
Aden Electrical commenced the Waitakere Civic Centre project in November 2004, the project was completed 22 months later, September 2006. The specifications for this project were to provide a complete low voltage reticulation system including all small lighting and power operated by the C-Bus Automation System. The primary goal was to provide an energy efficient lighting management system that reflected the eco-friendly initiatives that Waitakere City has adopted. It had to be a user friendly automated system that integrated audio, lighting and security. It also needed to have the flexibility to be upgraded in future so that it could be linked with the other Waitakere Council Buildings.
The Consulting Engineers for this project were Connell Wagner, we also had our own team in house working on the design and programming of this project. Waitakere Civic Centre was a challenging project for Aden Electrical and this project was approximately 3.1 million in value.
