Normally the biggest content of your electrical installation will fall into the categories of lighting or power, generally lighting using electrical energy to illuminate things and power using electrical energy to drive mechanical devices, both making your life easier. Aden has designed and installed a diverse range or lighting and power installations, so whatever your lighting and power requirements are, Aden can take care of them.

Lighting & Power Designs

Aden Electricals qualified people can carry out your lighting and power designs. Whether a design for a small residential dwelling, a multi unit retirement complex, a multi level commercial high-rises or multi hectare shopping center we can scope your lighting and power requirement and turn these into a set of specifications and plans for construction.

General Lighting

There is a vast array of lighting and our people will select the best lights for providing the most functional lighting to allow you to go about your tasks in a safe and efficient manner. We can respond quickly to replace or fix that light that is flickering or gone out, or we can quote and carry out a total lamp replacement to ensure you are getting maximum lighting levels in your work area.

Specialty Lighting

We can install or maintain specialty lighting, lighting to enhance or show off your garden, that special piece of artwork or that product you are selling. It may be task lighting to heat food or lighting of particular colours to sterilize or kill bacteria, what ever the requirement Aden can specify, install and maintain it.

Emergency Lighting

If you are lighting a workplace you will most probably need to have emergency lighting, either to allow critical functions to continue in the event of a power outage or to allow people to evacuate the building in a safe way in an emergency. Aden can install, maintain and test emergency lighting to ensure compliance to standards and local authority requirements.

General Power

Power allows you to use electrical devices; to work they need to be connected to the energy source. Whether permanently connected or connected via a lead and outlet, allowing you to relocate and use the appliance where you want to use it, Aden will ensure the device is connected in accordance with the regulations and in such a way that it allows you the most versatile use of the appliance.

Dedicated Power

Dedicated power is so called because it has a dedicated purpose. It may be to power a particular device that requires being on its own supply as you don’t want to run the risk of another device being connected to the same circuit and tripping it or it may be from a particular supply such as a standby power supply.

Standby Power & Generators

Power for when there is an outage to ensure devices continue to operate. Aden can specify, install and test emergency power suppliers, whether from a battery bank and inverter or a standby generator, Aden will ensure you have a supply ready to continue should your normal supply fail. Sometimes these take a few seconds to change over so if it’s critical, you may need a UPS.

Uninterrupted Power Supplies [UPS]

Regulated power that ensures no variance in supply and a seamless transfer to standby power in the event of a normal power outage, allowing you to continue to operate that electrical device or shut it down in an orderly manner. UPS’s filter out “noise” those harmful spikes and harmonics that can affect that performance of critical electronic devices such as computers.
